Our year-round course offering with its eight successive course levels in a diverse, achievement-oriented course system and the systematically progressive 4-week intensive courses provides the optimal start for anyone, regardless of their specific needs and prior knowledge of German, and a maximized language instruction in linguistically homogenous course groups. At the outset of the course, a written placement and diagnosis test with a personal interview thereafter help ensure the appropriate choice of course and course level placement that match the student’s personal linguistic background. If you have already taken an official language examination in your home country, you can use our table of tests ans examinations to see where you may place in our course levels. All courses use the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages as a point of reference.
